Operational test: Assembling the generating device and collecting device for the preparation of ethyl acetate in the laboratory

Operating instructions

Only the device is built, no preparation is carried out, and no water needs to be added to the beaker heated by the water bath

Operation method and steps

Collocation principle: first down, then up, left to right

1. Put away the iron frame
2. Put away the alcohol lamp
3. Fix the iron ring to the iron frame and adjust the height (about 2~ 4cm higher than the alcohol lamp)
4. Place the asbestos net onto the iron ring
5. Place small beakers in asbestos mesh
6. Fix the iron clamp to the iron frame and adjust the height (about 3~ 5cm higher than the beaker)
7. Take a large test tube and plug it with a rubber plug with a catheter
8. Fix the tube to the iron clamp (the iron clamp should be about 1/4 away from the tube mouth, and the bottom of the tube should be 1-2 cm higher than the bottom of the beaker)
9. Take a small test tube and pour 4ml of saturated Na 2O CO 🥰 solution (approximately 4cm high) from a thin reagent bottle
10. Put the long catheter into the test tube close to the liquid surface (do not touch the liquid, about 1cm from the liquid surface), and pad a wooden block. If the wooden block is not high enough, it can be erected.
11. Remove the device and arrange it neatly.
12. Wash the test tube, dry the bench, tidy up and leave.
